What this test checks
This stool test will tell us whether there are infections, parasites, or bleeding present in your digestive system that cause stomach problems. This helps doctors find the cause of symptoms like loose stools, stomach pain, and blood in stool.

How to prepare for this test
Fasting: not required. Take your usual medications unless your doctor says otherwise.

How is the sample collected
Collect fresh stool sample in a clean, dry container provided by the lab. Use the scoop attached to the container lid to collect a small amount from different parts of the stool. Avoid mixing with urine or water. Close the container tightly and label with your name.
