How to prepare for this test
Fasting: not required. Take your usual medications unless your doctor says otherwise.

How is the sample collected
Collect midstream urine in a sterile container provided by the lab. Clean your genital area with water, start urinating, then collect the middle portion in the container. Avoid touching the inside of the container.
