Urine Test For Diabetes

Diabetes can be detected by means of a urine test. Urine test will be positive in case of diabetes only if the sugar is above 180 mg/dl.

How to do the test?

For this test the lab will provide you with a sterile container. You have to collect your sample in that container. Around 15-20 ml of urine is required.

How much time will the test take?

The test is performed in 30 minutes and reports will be available online

What will be mentioned in the report?

The report will include a value from Negative(means no sugar was detected) to 4+ (which means a large amount of sugar has been detected)

What else will be mentioned in the report?
