Tests For Infertility in Pune

A list of lab tests and other self-help tools for Infertility in Pune

What is Infertility

The inability to become pregnant or cause pregnancy in the desired time frame.

How will these tests help?

In order to understand why you are having difficulty getting pregnant, we will perform a group of tests. This group includes Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), Luteinizing hormone (LH), Prolactin, Testosterone, Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), Total cholesterol, Free T4, Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH), Semen analysis, Estradiol, Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS), Vitamin D, Complete blood count (CBC), Progesterone, and Infectious disease screening (HIV, Hepatitis B, etc.)

The first group of tests will look at your hormone levels and overall health. Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing hormone (LH) are hormones that are released from the pituitary gland and help control the menstrual cycle

Prolactin, Testosterone, Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH), and Estradiol will also be tested to look for any abnormalities in hormone levels. Total cholesterol, Free T4, Vitamin D, and the Complete Blood Count (CBC) will provide information about your overall health

The second group of tests will help to evaluate your fertility. Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) will be tested to determine your ovarian reserve, which is important for fertility

Semen analysis will assess your partners fertility, as well as any sperm abnormalities. Dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) and Progesterone will also be tested to help determine if there are any issues with your reproductive system

Finally, the Infectious disease screening (HIV, Hepatitis B, etc.) will help determine if any infections could be causing your infertility. By performing these tests, we will be able to determine why you are having difficulty conceiving and provide you with the best treatment options.
